Flange Types and Features
TypeFeature
Titanium Blind Flange (BL)BL is a flange without a center hole, used for sealing pipe ends. Available in multiple sealing surface types including flat, raised face, concave-convex, tongue-groove, and ring joint.
Titanium Lap Joint Flange (LJF)The lap joint flange is functionally identical to the sliding flange. Normally used together with lap stubs as a system.
Titanium Plate Flange (PL)Suitable for connecting titanium pipes with nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa. The sealing surface can be smooth, concave-convex, or tongue-groove type.
Titanium Reducing FlangeUsed when standard flanges cannot be matched with pipe fittings. The inside diameter differs from a standard flange to accommodate different pipe sizes.
Titanium Slip-on Neck Flange (SO)Pipe slides into the flange before welding internally and externally for sufficient strength to prevent leakage. Bored slightly larger than the pipe outer diameter.
Titanium Threaded Flange (TH)Connected via thread corresponding to the pipe size. Main advantage: can be assembled without welding.
Titanium Socket Welding Flange (SW)Similar to a sliding flange with a counter bore that matches the pipe so the pipe is inserted into the flange before welding.
Welding Neck Flange (WN)Also called “high hub” flange. Transfers pipe pressure to reduce high stress concentration at the flange base. Higher cost due to complex production process.
